Digital Dialog works closely with STS, targeting UK prospects with cost-effective digital campaigns that help to inspire travellers to explore the country by rail.

Our Work

Since 2014, Digital Dialog have been fulfilling various marketing objectives for STS. Campaigns have focussed on engaging affluent travellers in the 35-65 age range via social media, email, digital display and remarketing campaigns.

The aim is to increase footfall to the STS website and to increase conversions. Promotions have encompassed inspirational messages about experiencing Switzerland by rail, available products, as well as offering ticket-based deals.

Promoting Swiss Rail holidays - Inspiring travellers to experience beautiful rail journey based holidays in Switzerland through Panoramic trains such as Glacier express, Gotthard express and the GoldenPass line.

Promotion of the Swiss Travel Pass - which gives access to travel by rail, bus and boat through a single pass. Explore the beauty of Switzerland by rail, road and bus.

Drive awareness and sales of the Swiss Transfer Ticket – which allows you to conveniently reach your ski resorts from most major airports.

Driving ticket sales via Swiss Travel Centre – who are the main travel agents and partners of Switzerland Tourism in UK for Swiss holidays.

Tactics have been based around email marketing, Facebook, display ads and retargeting prospects with an interest in travel and adventure. Content includes travel tips as well as discounted offers to encourage engagement and draw traffic, as well as promoting sales.

Itineraries such as the Grand Train Tour package and an eight-day trip on the GoldenPass line are perennially popular.

Retargeting campaigns are designed to reinforce the STS profile among those who have already visited the site. This approach is used in concert with the other digital marketing methods to improve brand recognition and offer.
