Frequently asked questions

What will our team learn in this training?

Your team will learn how to choose the right AI tools for different tasks, use them efficiently, and get consistently better outputs through effective prompting. The training covers the generative AI landscape including ChatGPT, Claude, Google Gemini, and Perplexity, with practical applications across content creation, customer communications, research, data analysis, and operations. All examples and exercises are drawn from tourism, travel, and hospitality contexts, with equivalent applications covered for membership organisations and trade bodies.

Who is this training designed for?

This training is for teams and departments within tourism boards, DMOs, LVEPs, hotels, hospitality businesses, venues, travel businesses, membership organisations, trade associations, BIDs, and chambers of commerce. It is equally relevant for marketing and communications teams, operations staff, customer service, visitor services, and leadership teams. No prior AI experience is required.

We are a membership organisation, trade body, or BID. Is this training right for us?

Yes. We work with membership organisations and trade bodies who want to build internal AI capability, and with those who want to deliver AI training to their members. Whether your goal is to upskill your own team or provide a session for your member network, the training can be shaped accordingly.

Does our team need prior experience with AI?

No. Sessions are designed for mixed-ability groups, from those who have never used these tools to those already experimenting who want to improve their approach and fill in the gaps. We start with foundations and build to practical application.

Which AI tools does the training cover?

The training covers ChatGPT, Claude, Google Gemini, and Perplexity. Hands-on practice is primarily conducted on ChatGPT, with an overview of the wider tool landscape including Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity so your team understands how to choose the right tool for each task. Advanced features covered include Custom GPTs, Projects, file analysis, deep research, image generation, and web-connected search.

How long is the session and what formats are available?

Sessions are flexible. The standard format is a half-day (3 to 4 hours), but we work with whatever suits your organisation, from a one-hour awareness webinar to a full-day workshop. Sessions can also be structured as a series of shorter sessions for larger teams or phased rollouts. Format and duration are discussed during the booking process.

Can the training be tailored to our organisation?

Yes. Private sessions can be weighted toward the applications most relevant to your team’s work. A hotel group might focus on guest communications, marketing, and revenue applications. A DMO might prioritise destination content, visitor insights, and stakeholder reporting. A membership organisation might focus on member-facing communications and sector intelligence. Tailoring is discussed during the booking process.

How many people can attend a team session?

For hands-on, workshop-style sessions we recommend up to 10 participants. Larger groups can be accommodated but the format shifts toward a more presentation-led delivery with structured interaction. For teams of 15 or more, we can also split across multiple sessions. Get in touch to discuss what works best for your group size.

What does our team need to participate?

For workshop-style sessions of up to 10 participants, a laptop and internet connection are required per person. We recommend setting up free accounts with ChatGPT, Claude, and Google Gemini before the session. Paid subscriptions give access to more features during the hands-on exercises but are not essential.

For larger groups, laptops are not required but are advisable. Full joining instructions are sent once your session is confirmed.

What materials do participants receive after the session?

All participants receive post-session reference materials covering key concepts and tools from the session.

How is this different from other team AI training providers?

Most team AI training is either generic content with no sector focus, or narrowly focused on a single platform such as Microsoft Copilot. This training is built specifically for tourism, travel, hospitality, and membership organisations, covers multiple tools rather than one, and is delivered by an active AI consultant who implements AI for clients in these sectors. Your team learns from someone who understands both the technology and the realities of your industry.

Is in-person delivery available?

Yes. We deliver sessions both online and in-person. Get in touch to discuss your preference, location, and team size.

We are based outside the UK. Can you still deliver this training?

Yes. Online sessions are open to organisations across Europe and beyond. In-person delivery outside the UK is available and discussed on a case by case basis.

Is there ongoing support after the training?

We offer optional follow-up sessions to address specific questions or implementation challenges. We also share regular updates and practical guidance through our newsletter and LinkedIn.

What is the cancellation policy?

Booked sessions are non-refundable. If you need to reschedule, please notify us in writing at least 10 working days before the session date and we will do our best to find an alternative date. Any prepaid fees will be held as a credit against the rescheduled session, which must take place within 6 months of the original date. Cancellations or rescheduling requests with fewer than 10 working days’ notice will be charged in full.
