AI in Tourism &
Hospitality Course
A practical, half-day course for professionals who want to use AI confidently in their day-to-day work.
Learn what AI tools are available, how to choose the right one for each task, and how to use them effectively. This instructor-led session covers prompting, real-world applications, and repeatable techniques you can apply across everyday work in tourism, travel, and hospitality, from destination content and visitor insights to guest communications and operational efficiency.
You know AI is changing your industry. But between the hype, the jargon, and the sheer volume of tools appearing every week, it’s hard to know where to start.
Maybe you’ve experimented with ChatGPT but aren’t sure you’re using it well. Maybe your organisation is talking about AI but nobody’s actually doing anything with it. Maybe you just want to feel confident that you’re not falling behind.
This course gives you that confidence. In a single half-day session, you’ll go from “I should probably learn about this” to “I know exactly what to do next.”
WHAT YOU'LL WALK AWAY WITH
Practical skills, not just theory
A clear map of the AI landscape
You'll understand how the major platforms compare, what each one does well, and where the free tier ends and the paid features begin. No more defaulting to ChatGPT because it's the only name you know.
Prompting that actually works
Most people type a sentence and hope for the best. This course teaches a practical briefing approach that consistently produces outputs worth using, and techniques for refining them until they match your professional standards.
Tourism & hospitality specific use cases
From destination copy and visitor insights to guest communications and hotel operations, every exercise is grounded in the work you actually do.
Repeatable techniques for your daily work
This isn't just about learning what's possible. The session builds practical workflows and evaluation habits that can be applied across content creation, research, planning, and internal communications from the following week.
Confidence to evaluate what's next
AI tools change constantly. You'll leave with a practical framework for assessing new tools and capabilities as they emerge, so you can make informed decisions rather than chasing every headline.
